The Inner Wheel Club of Lutterworth meet the fourth Tuesday of the month at the Olde Royal Oak, Bitteswell at 12.30pm.  The Club was chartered in 1954 and currently has 19 members.

Lutterworth is a small market town nestled in the agricultural area of south Leicestershire.  The River Swift runs through the south side of the town.  In the 1940s Sir Frank Whittle had a jet engine testing plant in Lutterworth.

This year the club will be supporting the Rainbows Children’s Hospice, NSPCC and Cancer.    Members made a cheque presentation to Rainbows on Inner Wheel Day  and the photo shows members resting on their laurels and enjoying tea and cakes.   They have also held a Fashion show and coffee mornings to raise money which will be presented at a later date.
