The Inner Wheel Club of Oadby meet the third Wednesday of the month (except July, September and December) at The Kings Centre, Bull Head Street, Wigston at 7.30pm. The Club was chartered in 1965 and currently has 45 members.
The Inner Wheel Club of Blaby, Oadby and Wigston was founded in 1965 and became the Inner Wheel Club of Oadby in 1976 when Blaby and Wigston formed their own clubs. A once famous landmark of Oadby was a magnificent Horse Chestnut Tree which was sacrificed in 1965 for road development.
