

The Inner Wheel Club of Spalding
currently has 30 members, 2 Honorary members and was Chartered in 1953. It meets every second Thursday of the month
at 1.30 p.m. or 2 p.m. (depending on the time of the year) usually at The
Spalding Yacht Club which is a lovely venue on the side of the river
Spalding
is a fast growing market town encouraging visitors in the Spring to its Flower
Festival. Visitors also enjoy seeing
fields of daffodils and touring round all the local decorated churches at this
time of the year. Visitors and locals
alike visit the expanding Springfields Outlet shopping centre and gardens with
dancing water displays.

We
are almost half way through our current Inner Wheel year which has been enjoyed
by all with many interesting speakers at our meetings together with our usual
‘catching up’ with one another before and after our monthly ‘get togethers’. Unfortunately two of our members have
resigned but have been replaced by two new members, Pauline Start and Meryll
Gedney with a possible third new member and a member transferring from another
Club.

husbands, friends and the public raising money for various charities
