The
Inner Wheel Club of Wellingborough Hatton meet the second Monday of the month
at 7.30 for 8.00pm at Wellingborough Golf Club. The Club received its Charter
in 1987 and currently has 20 members.
Wellingborough Hatton takes its name from the
town and also Sir Christopher Hatton who was one time Lord Chancellor and a
favourite of Queen Elizabeth I. He was also instrumental in the financing of
‘The Golden Hind’ for Drake’s voyage to the new world.
