The Wreake
Valley

The Inner Wheel Club of The Wreake Valley meet at 7.30pm on the first Tuesday of the month except July at the Community Centre, School Street, Syston. It is always best to check as some meetings are held elsewhere. They currently have 16 members. The Club received its Charter in 1988. To celebrate their 21^st Birthday they are planning an Ascot Ladies Day with afternoon tea on 18 June 2009.

Two miles south of Leicester is a valley in which the River Soar’s main tributary, the Wreake, joins it and this is where the Club gets its name.
