The Inner Wheel Club of Hinckley Ambion received its charter in 1994 and currently has 20 members. It meets on the fourth Monday of the month at the Royal Arms, Sutton Cheney at 7.30pm.
The club’s name comes from the nearest town, Hinckley, and where the club meets, Ambion Hill. Ambion Hill is the site of the Battle of Bosworth and the name Ambion is an old English word meaning ‘solitary tree’.
