The Inner Wheel Club of Shepshed meet the first Tuesday of the month at the Black Swan Pub, Loughborough Road, Shepshed at 7.00pm. The Club was chartered in 1947 and currently has 26 members.
Shepshed has had a variety of names over the years such as Sheep’s Head, Sheep Shed, etc. The town is situated on the edge of Charnwood Forest. Industries in the town included hosiery, until recently, where it was a prominent name and a long established brickmaker.
