

The Inner Wheel Club of Stamford Burghley meet at
the Lady Anne’s Hotel,

Members
of the Inner Wheel Club of Stamford Burghley have enjoyed an interesting
programme for the start of President Anne Harwood’s term.
In
September, founder President and member, Mary Anderton, paid a visit to the
Club and was made very welcome. Robert Palmer, a member’s son, gave a very
interesting and entertaining talk about his experiences of the life and customs
of the people from the

In
October, members heard about the history of Stamford Fairs and markets from
Peter Seamer who illustrated his enlightening talk with some excellent slides.
The
Rev. Edward Ghinn and his wife Susan visited in November, giving a very
inspiring and informative talk on his work with prisoners, their families and
prison staff in his capacity as the Chaplain of Stocken Prison.
